Top 10 Boston Restaurant Week!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year Boston. The o so coveted winter Restaurant Week is among us starting March 9 – 14th and the 16th-21st. personally I have been taking full advantage of restaurant week for the past couple of years. I mean $20.08 for lunch and $33.08 for dinners, which includes 3-courses, is pretty a much a steal in the city of $35 dollar plus entrees. So I have taken it upon my self to create a top ten not to miss list. It was not an easy task but here it is…

THE TOP TEN NOT TO MISS RESTAURANTS OF WINTER RESTAURANT WEEK 2008!

  • L’Espalier, one of Boston’s oldest and most elegant restaurants. The three course dinner option is usually $75 a person and is always well worth it.
  • Gas Light, a newbie on the list. Gas light opened in the fall and ever since then has been near impossible to get a table because it’s so darn good.
  • The Butcher Shop, such a treat. You get to pick out your own cut of meat. Excellent wine list.
  • Pops, Organic food Mecca. Perfect modernized comfort food.
  • The Fireplace, one of Boston’s most romantic restaurants.
  • Rocca, this Italian newbie was voted best new Boston Restaurant. It is extra noteworthy with it’s free south end parking. <a
  • Pigalle, enticing French cuisine. Most extensive restaurant week menu. <a
  • Tangierino, definitely the most fun on the list. Amazing Moroccan food, cocktails, Hookah, and…um..belly dancers.
  • Styx , Chocolate truffle tree for dessert…say no more.
  • Vlora, high end Mediterranean delights.

“Style is the perfection of a point of view”

Welcome to the big show,

So I have created caitastic for two fundamental reasons. The first being an outlet to keep people informed with the neat-o happenings at my job at citysquares. The other is to dish about all things that I find stylish around me. Now by style I simply am not just referring to fashion and things trendy. I am much more concerned with the pursuit of finding and telling of things and people that display acts of great personal style. They could be relevant to all things that I love which include Travel, Dinning, Boston, The beach, Charity, Music, and of course all of the interestingly stylish characters in my world. So stay tuned…

Warmest Wishes,

Caitlin Sullivan
